2 Corinthians 5:14
14: Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.
Galatians 2:20

John 11:50
- Why should the whole nation be destroyed? Let this one man die for the people."
- This prophecy that Jesus should die for the entire nation came from Caiaphas in his position as high priest. He didn't think of it himself; he was inspired to say it.
- It was a prediction that Jesus' death would be not for Israel only, but for the gathering together of all the children of God scattered around the world.
Hebrews 6:10
- For God is not unfair. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other Christians, as you still do.
Ephesians 3:18
- And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.
- May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 2:1

- But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so very much,
- that even while we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's special favor that you have been saved!)
Hebrews 2:9
- What we do see is Jesus, who "for a little while was made lower than the angels" and now is "crowned with glory and honor" because he suffered death for us. Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone in all the world.
2 Corinthians 3:9
- If the old covenant, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new covenant, which makes us right with God!
